About Prints
Prints are developed on Japanese Noritsu labs using traditional silver halide technology. You can choose from several types of paper for your prints:
- Fuji Gloss (Glossy PRO) 235 g/m2 (Fuji Crystal Archive Digital Paper DPII glossy) - A glossy paper with a smooth surface that reproduces contrasts and colour depth effectively, giving the impression of greater image sharpness.
- Fuji Lustre (Matte PRO) 235 g/m2 (Fuji Crystal Archive Digital Paper DPII lustre) - A paper with a very fine, grainy texture that minimizes light reflection. It is durable and resistant to mechanical damage and minor scratches, and fingerprints are barely visible on it. It reproduces natural colours well but, due to its uneven texture, appears "softer" and less contrasty compared to glossy papers.
- Fuji Silk (Silk) 235 g/m2 (Fuji Crystal Archive Digital Paper DPII silk) - A true semi-matte paper with a thicker texture than matte, resembling a honeycomb pattern with densely spaced ridges. It is reminiscent of traditional papers used for prints in the past. Resistant to fingerprints and scratches, it retains delicate contrasts, smooth tonal transitions, and reflects very little light.
- Fuji Pearl (Metallic) 250 g/m2 (Fuji Crystal Archive Digital Paper DPII pearl) - A highly glossy and smooth paper that strongly reflects light. Photos developed on this paper always appear sharper, with vibrant, vivid colours, sharp edges, and more detailed reproduction of fine details.
We understand how valuable your time is, which is why we pack your sessions separately! Simply add them to your cart as individual orders, and we’ll place each one in its own cardboard box. Each box holds up to 100 prints, so if your order contains more photos, we’ll divide them into two or more boxes. Rest assured, prints from different sessions will never be mixed together.
For prints, we also offer a colour correction service, which is available for an additional fee.
Backprint on Prints
To the back of the prints, we add a so-called "backprint".
A backprint is more than just a string of characters on the back of your photos. It provides information that will help you quickly and efficiently organize your prints. Each backprint includes:
- Our production name
- 16 characters with your project/session name (this can be set in the shopping cart)
- 25 characters with the file name (the character count includes spaces).
These labels make it easier to sort prints for your clients. Read the backprint markings and save time.
Additional Print
Every pack of prints includes one extra print marked with a barcode. Depending on the season, these prints feature themed designs such as holiday, spring, or winter motifs and typically include universal thank-you messages. What to do with these promotional prints? You can gift them to your clients! Simply remove the barcode and include the print with their orders for a thoughtful touch.
