A New nShop Functionality

You have no idea just how much we've been looking forward to letting you know about our latest nShop feature! Presentation mode makes possible what you've been waiting so long for - you can now show the nShop to your customers without revealing any pricing. Activating the presentation mode itself is extremely quick & easy, read all about it below!

We probably don't need to convince anyone of how anticipated this feature was. It’ll make things much easier when presenting your offer as well as all of the product options available in our nShop. A potential client, seeing how much choice they have and knowing that the product they are ordering is actually personalised for them, will certainly be more likely to agree to your offer and may even decide to go for a larger package. With the new presentation mode, you can show your customers how the selection and ordering process works, as well as which materials, designs, sizes and add-ons are available. You can do this in real-time and with the utmost convenience, by showing them all of this right from your computer screen!

How do I enable presentation mode?

To start using presentation mode, you must first select the version you wish to use in the Customer Area. Otherwise, you’ll see a button corresponding to this tool, but it’ll remain inactive.

Log in and enter the customer area; under the account settings panel, select price presentation mode:

The next step will be to choose the most convenient presentation mode for you - you have two options:  

Hide the pricing completely - if you choose this option, you will not see any prices in the nShop whatsoever (this includes price changes for add-ons, sizes, etc.)

Adding a price margin (you enter your own price margin as an added percentage) - so that you can decide what prices your client will see. Please note that the margin you set will be added to your existing pricing, which takes into account any discounts your account may have. This setting is unilateral and will affect the price of every product.

The type of presentation can be changed from the customer area. You can change and overwrite these settings at any time.

Once you save these settings, you will be able to use presentation mode at any time, which will reflect the option you’ve selected in the earlier step: no prices, or prices with an added margin. Remember to save any changes you make each time. You can switch the presentation mode itself on and off anytime, by selecting the nShop’s setting icon (cog).

Please be aware:

Presentation mode does not work in the shopping cart - this is important to remember if you do not want the client sitting next to you to accidentally view the true cost of your order. You will be reminded of this every time you put a product in your basket. However, we'd prefer to alert you to this in advance: don't open your cart in the presence of your clients!

New possibilities 

We’re certain that this change will make your work a lot easier and solve several previous inconveniences - such as the question of whether a certain product in your offer is available in a particular collection, client-end price range, size option and so on. You can now use the nShop to check all of this out in front of your clients, which is undoubtedly more convenient than browsing individual product pages.

Finally, remember to switch Presentation Mode off once you’ve parted with your client, as it will remain on until selected otherwise.

Key things to remember:

• The price margin is added to your current prices, taking account discounts into consideration.
• You can change the mode setting in the Customer Area at any time (i.e. removing prices or adding an additional margin).
• Presentation mode does not work in your cart! You will always see the true pricing there. 
• Presentation mode does not work on prints. This is because selecting them in the nShop will send you directly to the uploader / design menu.
